Bobby Jindal for Governor
Louisiana Governor Hopeful, Bobby Jindal needed a strong web presence with a local
feel. That's exactly what we provided and he was sworn into office on January 14,
2008, after receiving 54 percent of the vote in the October 2007 primary. This marked
the first time that a non-incumbent candidate for governor was elected without a
runoff under the current election system.
"It was a complete project from ground up. The Bivings Group did the design and
site flow and episode49 built the back-end functionality," says Ken Smith, managing
partner at episode49.
Since the project time frame was a critical issue to the Jindal campaign, The Bivings
Group and episode49 stepped up production and started burning the midnight oil.
According to Ken Smith, projects like the Jindal campaign site usually take up to
eight weeks to complete. However, they completed this project in only two.
Upon completion, the website soon gained the attention of others in the political
arena and has been noted as one of the most innovative campaign websites in the
nation.
