Tennessee Association of Dance

The Tennessee Association of Dance (TAD) is a statewide network of organizations and individuals dedicated to artistic excellence and committed to ensuring that dance is a vital and respected part of life for all Tennesseans. TAD provides services that support communication, fellowship, advocacy, leadership, and education for a broad-based dance constituency.

TAD develops and sponsors educational opportunities, conferences, events, auditions, scholarships, awards, and dance resources for its members and the Tennessee dance community.

episode49 created a completely new website for TAD in 2009 and continues to work with TAD to keep the website up to date.

"Dance is a widely overlooked and to some degree under appreciated form of the arts," said Ken Smith. "I'm hoping events such as this will bring a broader knowledge to TAD being a regional advocate and the importance of dance in communities."
