e49 renews functions for Church of God website

episode49, with design services from Maycreate, completed an updated version of the Church of God School of Ministry site.
The Church of God provides the Certificate in Ministerial Studies (CIMS), a nontraditional training curriculum, which enables every minister to receive training in a Distance Learning Center, or via personal or internet-based study.
"The site has always enabled people to answer their call to the ministry. The changes in the look that Brian (May) completed provides a pleasing experience for students who will be looking at it every day they study," said Kurt Schaffer, managing partner and chief architect at episode49.
Students are able to review course syllabi, select and enroll in courses, review their lesson progress and take exams on the website. Students download their course reading materials, and use it to supplement the video presentations associated with each lecture.
e49 worked with Maycreate to insure that the site continued to work fully within the new design. Maycreate updated the look of the site to match student expectations of a professional study environment on par with comparable distance learning programs.
The CIMS is an introductory, 40-semester-hour course of study that prepares students for effective ministry. While CIMS is open to any qualified applicant, the program was designed for ministers who hold Church of God credentials or who have been set forth for ministry by a local church.
The Church of God was founded in 1886, and has a world-wide membership of over 7 million with a presence in nearly 160 countries. The School of Ministry site is www.ministerialtraining.org.
Maycreate offers a number of design and marketing services that enhance the competitiveness of clients. Services include creative and technical copywriting, promotional and typographic design, illustration, editorial design and corporate communication, and brand and identity systems. Their site is www.maycreate.com.
