e49 contracted by Krystal for Contact Database

Krystal Corporation, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, recently awarded episode49 the contract to build an internal email and contact database system.

For years, managers and customer service personnel have relied on their own email system at their desktop. The new solution will ensure that everyone functions on the same platform. Although some canned email solutions have provided them with average success in the past, managers complained of the lack of continuity between departments and the lack of efficiency when responding to customer inquiries.

"After assessing their internal email system, it was clear that they required a custom programmed solution to meet their needs," says Ken Smith, managing partner of episode49. "Their firm is just too big to rely on an out-of-the-box solution."

Their new platform allows employees to have access to corporate emails regardless of their location. Managers and customer service personnel will be able to upload large quantities of email address for promotions and announcements. episode49 also created several custom email templates that will provide a themed look and feel to each email sent from a Krystal employee.
