e49 Expands and Relocates

episode49 has relocated to a larger facility to accomodate the increased staff necessary to support new development projects and long term maintenance contracts .

"We're increasing our staff, and have moved into larger offices on South Broad to keep up," said co-founder Ken Smith.

The new offices are located at 3001 South Broad Street, Suite 202, Chattanooga, TN 37408 in the recently redeveloped Southern Saddlery Building. The nearly 100 year old multi-story brick building interior has office lofts with the original, dark stained pine plank flooring, hand-hewn beams and exposed floor joists. It is located at the foot of the bridge over Chattanooga Creek at the Chattanooga Creek Greenway Trailhead and St. Elmo Avenue pedestrian way and bikeway.

episode49 provides systems development to local businesses such as Krystal and Olan Mills, primarily doing web development. episode49 also provides national support to organizations such as the Republican National Committee.

Ken Smith and Kurt Schaffer, founders of episode49, have collaborated on systems development services for local concerns for over eight years. They met while working at SMARTech prior to merging with Nextlec, later becoming st3. After st3 dissolved, they continued to support the needs of many local and regional clients by forming episode49.
