RNC retains e49 for development

episode49 has received a maintenance contract with the Republican National Committee based on their past experience with the Republican National Committee (RNC) and developing secure systems on the Microsoft .NET platform.
An early project with the RNC involved acquiring voter information for the entire country. The information was used to contact people who probably otherwise would not have voted.
"We were able to leverage our experience and technology to manage millions of time-sensitive database records provided by multiple sources." co-founder Kurt Schaffer said.
The impact of this behind the scenes project lead to episode49 partnering a Washington, DC based firm to create the election night tracking system that political leaders relied on for the most accurate and up to the minute results. While the access was restricted to state and national party headquarters, it was the source for results from voter turnout to the presidential race throughout the country.
"Most people have no idea that a Chattanooga based firm like episode49 is making this kind of national impact", Smith said.
In preparation for the 2006 elections, episode49 is working on several political action focused projects, including a major site which was launched just over one month ago.
