RNC Has e49 Overhaul Primary Voter Application

Tuesday, August 23, 2005

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has selected episode49 to overhaul their primary application for boosting voter participation.

The current development builds on a prior project with the RNC that involved acquiring voter information for the entire country. The information was used to contact people who probably otherwise would not have voted.

"We were able to leverage our experience and technology to manage millions of time-sensitive database records provided by multiple sources." said Kurt Schaffer, managing partner and chief systems architect.

The RNC selected episode49 based on episode49's past experience in developing secure systems on the Microsoft .NET platform that involved large databases. Quick access and timely loading for the new project is essential.

episode49 provided evidence of their ability to create time- sensitive systems with their election night tracking application. Political leaders relied on it for the most accurate and up to the minute results in 2004. While the access was restricted to state and national party headquarters, it was the source for results from voter turnout to the presidential race throughout the country.

In preparation for the 2006 elections, episode49 is working on several political action focused projects, including a major site which was launched just over one month ago.

"The site features the latest technology to maximize online fundraising, mobilize our grassroots political organization, as well as state of the art communications tools." said Elizabeth Dole, Chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
