New Multimedia at Hunter Museum Opening

The Hunter Museum of American Art completed its nine- month $19.2 million expansion and renovation. The increase in capabilities included a new multimedia computer system created by episode49.

"When the Hunter Museum of American Art was planning our reinstallation, a new way to look at American Art, we knew that the technological needs would be complex and would need to be innovative to fit with the rest of the installation. We turned to episode49 who met the challenge, under incredibly tight time constraints, with professionalism, enthusiasm, creativity and vast technological know-how. We consider them part of our team." said Robert A. Kret, Hunter Museum Director.

"We were able to provide a first of its kind system for delivering art information and video securely, and do it so that the Hunter does not need its own technical staff to maintain it", said Ken Smith, managing partner and chief strategist for episode49.

In addition to providing the educational systems that enable patrons to do controlled research on specific pieces in the Hunter collection, episode49 also supports their website at www.huntermuseum.org.

The Hunter Museum collection focuses exclusively on American Art. It hosts travelling exhibits such as Georgia O'Keefe and Richard Jolley.
