Kurt Schaffer currently serves as an executive member in the development of strategic
solutions and enterprise applications, in addition to managing day-to-day operations
for episode49.
From 1988 to 1995, Kurt was a Project Consultant in Huntsville, AL. His role was
to monitor large NASA contractors and provide the NASA Project Managers with "what-if"
scenarios, risk management, and baseline analysis (for both cost and schedules).
In 1996, he migrated to Chattanooga to continue his Project Management consulting
with TVA.
His project management and consulting background provide for the real-world vision
for applications that positively impact organizations’ bottom-line.
Since around 1995, Kurt has found his joy in developing software. He has served
on projects that include such companies as: Advanced Micro Devices (AMD),
Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, Chattanooga Visitors Bureau,
Church of God School of Ministry, Floor Focus/FloorDaily.net,
Hunter Museum, J103, Krystal, Lee Smith, Mohawk Industries, Olan Mills, Pathway Bookstore, Pathway
Press, WUTC, national political organizations, and various sized 501c3 organizations.
Kurt, and his wife Tonya, have been happily married since 1993. In 2008, they celebrated
the birth of their daughter, Olivia. They currently live in Ooltewah and enjoy grilling
out on the deck with friends. When they can get away, you will find that they gravitate
towards the beach. The season that he enjoys the most is football season… Roll Tide.
